Welcome to the Florence B. Dearing Chapter of the National Honor's Society!
You excel. You serve. You lead. You succeed.
Scholarship- Standard of excellence with a 3.5 GPA or higher
Service- This involves voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation. 
Leadership- Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, and idea contributors. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities while working with or for others. 
Character-The student of good character is cooperative; demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others; and generally maintains a clean disciplinary record.

  1. Community Service hours are 10 PER SEMESTER for the  school year
  2. The $45 club fee is due on Parent Portal. Please contact  Mrs. Drake if you are having​difficulty.
  3. Download the free app, Google Chat, so that you can get updates from Miss Kosla or Officers.

  3. Monthly Project Meeting will be the first Friday of the month for your project month during seminar time or after school.  Arrange that with Miss Kosla.

  5. Induction Ceremony - attendance mandatory - April 29, 2026 @ 6:00 PM in the HHS Auditorium
